FREE Aesop’s Fables Theatre Family Event

I grew up reading Aesop’s Fables (if you didn’t grow up reading them, they are a collection of silly animal stories that end with a moral). So, when I heard that I could be part of an Aeop’s Fables family event– for FREE – I was pretty excited! This weekend (Sunday, January 28), the Library Center is hosting a really cute kid-friendly, no-cost-to-you production. The performance promises to be fast-paced and high-energy, and your kids will leave with memorable life-lessons. The actors are from Bright Star Touring Theatre, one of the largest professional touring theatre companies in the country. I looked them up, because I wanted to learn more about the potential of this event, and, my goodness, these people seem really good http://www.brightstartheatre.com. They travel all over the country (and even internationally) to provide high-quality performances to kids everywhere in order to, as they say on their website, “bring the magic of theatre to young people who may not always have the chance to see it.”

Registration is not required, so I would get there early if possible to get some good seats! This event is best for preschool and elementary-age kids.

Address: The Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave, Springfield 65810
